Black Park Reindeer Trail
Come for a Christmas walk around Black Park Lake and enjoy our FREE reindeer trail with family and friends. On this trail you will come across our wooden reindeer which were hand-made by Santa and his little helpers (the Country Parks Team).
The reindeer will be on display between the 18th December from 11am until the 4th January at 5pm. You can visit the trail during normal car parking hours and your task will be to find all 9 of them from Dasher all the way to Rudolf. Not only will you have fun exploring the route you will also learn about the evergreen trees that grow in our park. Additionally, there will be a designated Christmas tree that you can hang a homemade craft on!
To find each reindeer location you can follow the map that can be seen below. Alternatively, there will be signs from the car park leading you around the route and back to the car park once you have completed the trail.
This trail is free of charge so there is no need to book a ticket. Black Park Country Park has a Pay and Display Public Car Park. Car parking charges will always apply unless specifically stated, you can check charges on our website. The pathways are buggy friendly, but it is recommended to wear suitable warm clothing and sturdy footwear.
