The Spirit of the North Pole comes to Southgate Bath

SouthGate Bath has revealed its Christmas activity for this year, with a host of festivities throughout the rest of November and December.

Every weekend from now until Christmas, festive characters will be visiting the centre to sprinkle seasonal cheer.

This weekend Arctic Elves and Aurora Explorers will visit the centre bringing the spirit of the North Pole, this follows a storytelling session with a polar bear and explorer friend, Sir Snobert Drift last weekend.

Adults and children alike will delight in magical ‘snow flurries’, which will see SouthGate Bath transformed into a joyful white Christmas every day, including Christmas Eve, for visitors to capture perfect snowy selfies in their Christmas jumpers.

Guy Henderson, centre director at SouthGate Bath, said: “We’re going the extra mile to make every visit to SouthGate Bath across the festive period extra special.

“We always try to do something a bit different to spread cheer, and this year we’re looking forward to welcoming a selection of festive characters and creating the magical atmosphere of a white Christmas with our snow flurries.”

There is also a Selfie Snow Globe in SouthGate Place, where customers can activate a snowstorm by donating £2 to RUHX Children’s Services, the official NHS charity of the Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust which supports RUH Bath Staff & Patients, via contactless payment.

Visitors can also enjoy festive late-night Thursdays with stores open until 7pm in the lead up to Christmas.
