Direct from duties at Buckingham Palace and following a sell-out concert in 2022, the Bands of The Household Division for the first time, bring their spectacular Christmas concert to The Fairfield Halls.
Having performed to a global audience throughout 2023, this unique Coronation year comes to a close with a celebration of Christmas by some of the world’s finest military musicians.
Featuring over 100 musicians, this glittering winter concert ‘Scarlet and Gold’ evokes the ceremonial splendour and sparkle of the Guards’ uniforms and instruments. The programme of music guarantees to delight everyone and a truly world class performance of musical excellence, in the beautiful setting of The Fairfield Halls is guaranteed.

MasterChef Champion and Broadcaster Wynne Evans is starting his Christmas celebrations by joining the musicians of the Household Division on stage at The Fairfield Halls on the 15th December.
Wynne, one of the leading Operatic Tenor voices in the UK and famed for his portrayal of the spoof opera singer Gio Compario in a TV advertising campaign, has agreed to swap characters for one night only and portray the part of miser Ebenezer Scrooge, as he narrates the Charles Dickens tale almost 180 years to the day of its first publication.
