Desperado An Eagles Tribute
Desperado’ the UK’s premier live Eagles tribute show comes to the Corn Exchange.
The internationally acclaimed show, is regarded as one of the finest Eagles tributes you will ever witness. The show which is two hours plus, includes all the Eagles classics, and features unsurpassable sweet vocal harmonies, laid over note perfect guitar breaks. Licks, slides, and solos. Furthermore, the boys will dip into the solo careers of Henley and Walsh, adding beautifully to the total Eagles experience.
Amongst the band’s line up is guitarist/vocalist Chris Brighton an avid Eagles fan. Chris in his own right made the American billboard charts in 1990 with his composition ‘Close to You’.
Keyboard player Frank Beach, has worked with such artistes as ‘Ruby Turner’ who often appears at the South Holland Centre.
Lead guitarist Nick Mellor, was awarded ‘guitarist of the year’ by Guitarist Magazine. Nick in fact shares the stage with ex Eagles star Don Felder whenever he tours the UK.
Other key members of the band include lead vocalist and guitarist Steve Ashcroft, whose career has included work with Jasper Carrot, Barbara Dickson, Hot Chocolate and Roy Wood.
Bass player Mike Tinsley, is one of the finest bass players in the country. He plays a unique Ken Smith 5 string and Fender fretless bass. His vocals add to the authentic Eagles sound that ‘Desperado’ are famous for.
Drummer Darron Ashford, is by far one of the most talented drummers on the scene today, having played with such international artistes as Westlife, Will Young, Joss Stone and Lionel Richie.
This top line of formidable and talented musicians will take your breath away as they perform the Eagles greatest hits. Expect to hear such Eagles classics as ‘Hotel California’ ‘Lyin’ Eyes’ ‘Take it to the Limit’ and of course ‘Desperado’.
