FREE taster session with the Guildford Monday Rock Choir
If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes!
The Guildford Rock Choir is led by local vocal tutor Thomas George. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it's a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Thomas. Rock Choir members have performed and sung across the country at venues including Wembley Arena, Eurodisney and many more iconic landmarks. The choir also has a charitable function in raising money and awareness for Missing People and Refuge.
Rock Choir offers the chance to sing pop, rock and Motown songs together in a comfortable, unauditioned way. There are a minimum of 10 singing sessions a term with lots of extra FREE rehearsals in the year to get you happy and ready to do the really fun bit - sing and perform as a choir, and any commitment you make are organised to fit around the main holiday times in the year. Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
