Bach St John Passion Choral Workshop
Come and join Romsey Choral Society on Sunday 14th January for an afternoon Workshop on Bach’s powerful and dramatic St John Passion.
Our esteemed musical Director, Richard Pearce, will be leading the workshop - he is an accomplished organist, conductor and pianist with both amateur and professional choirs. He records and broadcasts regularly with the BBC Singers, and is the organist for the Last Night of the BBC Proms. Our accompanist is Richard McVeigh, who can be heard frequently playing live organ recitals on his You Tube channel, Beauty in Sound, where he has over 100k followers.
Scores will be available to borrow, tea and cake is included and there will be an opportunity to join the choir on a temporary basis to sing in the St John Passion concert in Romsey Abbey on 23rd March.
