Museum of East Dorset - Open Garden for NGS
This year the National Garden Scheme are working with the Museum of East Dorset on a garden lecture series which will run throughout the spring and summer months. The aim is to provide a number of talks which are of high interest, offer enough diversity in their content and are relevant to our local garden community within Dorset.
Our second garden lecture in the series is by William Hanham, whose house and garden at Deans Court in Wimborne are steeped in history, with features reaching back to the First Century AD. William will explore the various forms and functions of the site and its garden through the impact of national and local history over the last two millennia.
