Eastbourne Central Garden Trail - Open Garden for NGS
A garden that last opened for NGS in 2005, Chelmsford Lodge, returns to join three other gardens that have regularly opened, to create a central Eastbourne walking trail. 51 Carlisle Road is a secluded, award-winning garden with glorious early summer colour from an abundance of old roses, perennials mixed beds and diverse planting. Dittons End is a lovely well maintained town garden. The 35ft x 20ft back is a pretty garden with a small lawn area and a patio surrounded by a selection of pots and packed borders with lots of colour, while the front is 25ft x 18ft with a compact lawn with colourful borders. Hardwycke is just two houses away with many usual and unusual plants and many shrubs.
