Herstmonceux Parish Trail - Open Garden for NGS
Seven gardens inc a historic windmill and allotments. In Cowbeech there are three gardens: Cowbeech House, a place to linger with an exciting range of water features and sculpture in the garden dating back to 1731. Vintage car collection on site to view. Merrie Harriers Barn is a garden with sweeping lawn and open countryside, colourful herbaceous planting and a large pond with places to sit and enjoy the view. Kerpses is a delightful mixture of mature trees, shrubs, herbaceous borders, vegetable garden, ponds and a meadow. In Stunts Green, The Allotments comprise 54 allotments growing a huge variety of traditional and unusual crops. Nearby is The Elms, a working florist's cutting garden.
