Lympsham Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
At the heart of the stunning village of Lympsham next to its C15 church are the gardens of two of the village's most historic homes. Lympsham Manor, a 200 yr old gothic rectory manor house with 2 octagonal towers, is set in 10 acres of formal/semi-formal garden, surrounded by paddocks and farmland. Fully working Victorian kitchen garden and greenhouse, arboretum of trees from all parts of the world, a large pond with a Japanese style bridge (built from oak from the garden), a wildflower area and a beautiful old rose garden. Church Farm has a ¾ acre informal English country garden with herbaceous borders, shrub-lined paths, raised beds and a small courtyard garden.
