Linton Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Several gardens in the village of Linton. Near the top of the High Street, close to the junction with the A1307, 14 High Street, is a garden where most of the planting is white. The entrance belies the size of the garden, much of which is designed with wildlife in mind. Next door is Queens House, with garden 'rooms' separated by hedging and graced by statuary reflecting the age of the house. Follow the path in front of the church to reach the cottage garden at 20 Mill Lane is full of colour as well as abundant edible produce. The garden behind the Gallery Above at 94 High Street is small and perfectly formed, and accessed via a courtyard where teas are served. 30 Symonds Lane is a small, long Edwardian plot planted as a cottage garden.
