Duxford Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Several village gardens of different sizes and characters. 5 Green Street is an enclosed garden which was planted to be easily managed and require little maintenance without compromising on colour and interest. 31 St Peters Street, on a steep slope, is filled with colour and surprises, and also has a dry rockery in front of the house. Bustlers Cottage has an acre of cottage garden inc vegetable garden, many trees and places to sit and enjoy. Stop here and try a home-made cream tea and buy some plants. In St John's Street, the garden at number 38, Old Laceys, has cottage garden planting with some interesting formal touches, inc a cloud pruned Pyracantha. Opposite Old Laceys a grass maze has been mown into the lawn at the Rectory.
