Coveney & Wardy Hill Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Six medium sized gardens, in the fenland parish of Coveney overlooking Ely cathedral: School Lane, a plantsmans garden, with year-round interest and unusual plants, patio, rock garden and veg plot. Nearby, Hawthorn Cottage, a cottage garden of bee friendly herbaceous borders, roses, wildlife pond and bonsai in a shaded patio. Do visit the floral displays in the church. In Wardy Hill, Hey Chapel has winding paths to view the cathedral and a splendid veg garden, down through a series rooms of arched roses and wildlife ponds. On the Green 1a, is a new build house and garden with a more modern feel of arbours, interesting herbaceous borders and water feature.
