Harwich Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
The gardens all within walking distance in the historical town of Harwich. 8 St Helens Green, just 100metres from the sea. A small town garden with roses, dahlias, hydrangeas mixed with perennials, small fruit trees and pots. 63 Church Street is a long, narrow walled courtyard with shrubs, climbers, perennials and a small vegetable garden packed into the garden. Architectural features inc an Elizabethan window with original glass. Quayside Court, a community garden, unusually boasts a sunken garden hidden from view at the end of the car park which features a pond, vegetable patch, roses and climbers. 42 Kings Quay Street courtyard garden recently landscaped.
