St Margaret's Allotments - Open Garden for NGS
Five acres of over 100 allotments against the spectacular backdrop of Durham Cathedral. Enthusiastic gardeners, many using organic methods, cultivate plots which display a great variety of fruit, vegetables and flowers. One of the most attractive allotments-site anywhere. Visitors may also visit the adjacent St Margaret's Churchyard, with its interesting graves and natural history.
