The Old School - Open Garden for NGS
Created from brambly wilderness since 2015, the garden is on unforgiving rocky remains of quarried stone from building the Old School. South facing, views of Menai Strait. Sheltered from westerly winds dry, free draining soil suits agapanthus; ginger lilies; salvias and enormous echiums. Winding paths, steep in parts, mean accessibility is limited. Biomass heated greenhouse. An ongoing project.
