Llanddona, one of the highest villages in Anglesey sits between Red Wharf Bay and the Menai Strait. Village garden owners welcome you to visit their Open Gardens. Some gardens need shelter from strong winds but its a sunny location, with spectacular outlooks. The gardens often have rocky outcrops, but many plants do well. Agapanthus particularly enjoy the climate. A variety of gardens, some small and some quite large will be open with different gardening styles and favourite plants. You may pop in to see some carefully tended vegetables; a smallholding gardened organically with a herd of Golden Guernsey goats and lovely orchard; or a garden with a pottery studio. A map will show you where each garden is located. Most will be within a short walk.
