Middleton Cheney Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Large village with C13 church (open) with renowned pre-Raphaelite stained glass. Nine open gardens with a variety of sizes, styles & maturity. Of the smaller gardens, one modern garden contrasts formal features with colour-filled borders and exotic plants, another with flowing curves feels restrained and serene. A mature small front and back garden is planted profusely with a feel of an intimate haven. A garden that has evolved through family use features rooms and dense planting. A steeply-pitched garden on three levels has patio, ponds, herbaceous borders and acer collection. One garden is designed to support nature, providing an environment to attract bird and insects.
