Cumnor Village Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
These 5 gardens show the wonderful variety of village green space with many different plants, shrubs, trees, vegetables, fruit and wild flowers. One cottage garden has unusual perennials and many shrubs, ferns, trees and vegetables. New this year is a garden full of colour and interest along winding paths. A courtyard garden is cleverly planted for extremes of light and shade highlighted by pops of colour at all levels. At the end of Leys Road are 2 more unique gardens; a picturesque naturalist's garden and small holding complete with thatched cottage (not open), and a more modern style property with a walled garden, ponds, willow with light and shaded walks among plants that delight the imagination and harp music may be played.
