Fydell House - Open Garden for NGS

Within three original red brick walls a formal garden was been created in 1995. Yew buttresses, arbours and four parterres use Dutch themes. The borders contain herbaceous plants and shrubs. The north facing border holds shade loving plants. There is a mulberry and walnut tree. The astrolabe was installed in 1997. A Victorian rockery is built from slag from ironworks in Boston.
