Buckworth Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Three gardens opening together for the first time with extensive views of surrounding countryside. At Khususi, the ½ acre garden has relaxed wildlife-friendly planting that is sympathetic to its setting and inc a small perrenial meadow. Variety of mature trees, ferns, hostas and euphorbias. Natural ornamentation inc a water feature created from local stones, and tree stumps. Manor Lodge extend over four acres of which two are paddocks. Lambs often graze here along with the resident brood of hens. The gardens comprise lawns, small orchard, herbaceous and rose borders, walled garden, pond and extensive vegetable areas with polytunnel. 2 New Cottages is set behind a Victorian semi-detached cottage.
