Higher Denham Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
At least three gardens will open in the delightful Misbourne chalk stream valley, and Wind in the Willows also opens separately in March. Wind in the Willows has over 350 shrubs and trees, informal woodland and wild gardens inc riverside and bog plantings and a collection of 80 hostas and 12 striped roses in 3 acres. A new water lily pond has been created within the river. 'Really different' was a typical visitor comment. The garden at 5 Side Road is medium sized with lawns, borders and shrubs, and many features which children will love. A big conifer has been removed and the area replanted for greater interest. 11 Ashcroft Drive a unique and not to be missed garden laid out in a Persian style stocked with typical Persian plants.
