Hutton Wandesley Walled Garden - Open Garden for NGS
Redesigned and re-landscaped in 2022 by the owner, Mrs Sasha York. Beautifully designed with a stunning planting scheme, it is hard to believe the garden is just a year old. The Walled Garden extends to 2½ acres with a quadrant design giving emphasis to the original design dated 1874. Four main areas comprise a perennial meadow, a parterre garden with 16 harmoniously planted parterres, a cutting garden with primarily annual flowers inc a stunning display of dahlias later in the season and large lawned area. Avenues are lined with Pyrus salicifolia and Pyrus chanticleer. Stunning throughout the year.
