Glass Painting with Emma Blount
Make your very own amazing bespoke painted Glass panel. Just turn up with an open mind, wearing painting clothes. You are welcome to bring A4 print-outs of images you'd like to paint onto the glass or images will be provided to work from and inspire you. You will be guided step by step by Emma, through the Victorian layering glass painting method to produce beautiful 6x6 glass paintings of your own. You will be amazed what you can do with these ancient techniques and Emma will show you the different brushes and materials to use and how to reproduce nature and form. Each Student will be painting onto glass that is laid on light boxes. Students will have the opportunity to make several glass paintings during the workshop. One of those glass paintings (for an extra £20 paid directly to Emma) can be fired in a kiln after the workshop, framed with half-inch lead and delivery arranged. No previous experience is necessary. The day includes all of the tools and materials needed. A home-cooked lunch and all refreshments during the day are included in the price of the workshop.
