Drawing a Still Life with Elizabeth Fitzgerald Carter
A one-day workshop to learn essential drawing tips. A one day workshop to learn essential drawing tips which will be so useful for any future art you may do. Come and learn from Elizabeth Carter, a professional artist and wonderful tutor. In the morning a still life will be set up as the central focus of the studio. There will be a short demonstration of measuring, drawing form, relationships between forms, composition and the rule of thirds or golden section. Then you will be asked to pick 3 items to take to your desk and draw in charcoal. The afternoon will be spent interpreting the central still life in a medium of your choice. This workshop is suitable for all abilities.
