Earrings and Pendant Set Jewellery Workshop with Sara Swanson
Make your own finished jewellery pieces. Come along and make your own pendant and earring set from sterling silver, copper or brass. During this class you will learn several different jewellery making techniques such as sawing, texturing and polishing and make your own finished jewellery pieces. If you choose to make your earrings and pendant set out of copper or brass then the cost is included. If you choose to make it out of silver then there will be an additional charge of roughly £50 - £60 depending on what you make and price at the time of the workshop. If you choose silver then you will pay direct to Sara. Sara originally trained at university in fine art and ceramics but wanted to do a creative subject at home in a smaller space so taught herself silversmithing. She then qualified in the subject and started The Argentum Design Company. Sara has been teaching the subject for about 10 years as well as all other forms of jewellery making such as enamelling, polymer clay and chain mail. Sara also works as a technical consultant for city and guilds developing silversmithing and jewellery courses for colleges around the world. All tools are supplied with the workshop. Small class size so lots of one to one tuition. All refreshments and a home cooked lunch are included in the day.
