Johnny Hates Jazz are a British band consisting of the grooviest cats you could ever wish to meet, Clark Datchler and Mike Nocito.
The band captured the definitive magic of 80s sophisticated pop with their soulful vocals, breezy melodies, and evocative songwriting. The most successful being Shattered Dreams. Released in 1987, it became a top 5 hit in the UK and paved the way for smash singles like I Don’t Want To Be A Hero, Turn Back The Clock (featuring Kim Wilde on backing vocals), Heart Of Gold and Don’t Say Its Love. With the double-platinum success of Turn Back The Clock they defined the iconic sound of a neon-hued decade.
