Bucks Pottery & Sculpture Society talk
In this month's meeting of the Bucks Pottery & Sculpture Society we will have a talk and demonstration by ceramic artist Alison Pink. Alison's professional life has been consistently animal based - from veterinary practice to lecturing in anatomy and physiology at an agricultural college. This has left her with a sound knowledge of animal structure and movement. If it walks, swims or flies, she is passionate about immortalising it in clay. She adds detail by imprinting texture using random items - these could be anything from lace, shells, braid or rubber stamps to just odd bits from 'that drawer' in the kitchen! Examples of her work can be seen at www.alisonpink.co.uk
The meeting will be held at Little Kingshill Village Hall (HP16 0DZ) on Friday 26th January from 8-10pm. Information about the society can be found at www.buckspotters.com. We are also on Facebook and Instagram.
Open from 8-10pm
Entry is free for BPSS members, £5 for visitors
