Beetroot and Batik- Teenagers (aged 12-16)

Food created fashion in the Middle Ages!

Join us to discover how common foods gave colour to medieval clothes. Explore the different colours of food-based dyes and find out about their history.
Learn a new skill in batik and create your own food-dyed batik bag!

Please let us know of any allergies when booking.

This workshop is designed for teenagers aged 12 to 16.

This event is part of Our Year – Wakefield District 2024

Workshops are from 10.00- 12.00 and 13.00-15.00

£2.50 per teenager, accompanying adults free. Accompanying adults are welcome but not essential.
