Fulham Symphony Orchestra: Mussorgsky, Elgar, Bonis and Rubinstein
FSO performs Mussorgsky’s much-loved musical depiction of an art gallery, masterfully orchestrated by Ravel. In this performance an extra image will join the exhibition: an excerpt from Rubinstein’s opera ‘Moses’.
In the first half of the concert, French late-Romantic composer Mel Bonis paints a picture in sound of a dreaming Cleopatra, and award-winning soloist Madeleine Pickering plays Elgar’s passionate Violin Concerto.
7.30pm. Tickets £14, concessions £12, under-16s £9. Booking fees apply.
