Newport Music Club presents Trio Volant
Newport Music club is pleased to present Trio Volant; three talented musicians, playing bassoon, oboe and clarinet, who have a wealth of solo, chamber and orchestral experience.
Trio Volant was formed in 2010 whilst all the members were studying at the Royal Northern College of Music. The Trio regularly give formal recitals and lunchtime concerts in and around Manchester and the North West as well as further afield. They particularly enjoy the opportunity to perform the lesser-known reed trio chamber music repertoire. They were winners of the Dorothy Parkinson Award 2017 for young outstanding
British chamber musicians as well as being Selected and Recommended Artists for Making Music for 2019-2020.
Their varied programme will include music by Mozart, Pierne, Milhaud, Tansman, Jacob and Bozza.
