The Argyle String Orchestra Concert - Reflections
A programme of music to celebrate springtime in all its beauty. Features pieces by Elgar, Parry and Vaughan-Williams - three of Britain's most enduring composers. The concert also includes Pergolesi's masterwork for orchestra and singers - Stabat Mater - a gem of the Italian baroque period, with the text drawing from a 13th-century hymn that preludes the joy of Easter.
