About this Event
Dragonfly and damselfly guided walk at RSPB Ham Wall
Learn to tell a common darter from a four-spotted chaser, or a large red damselfly from a banded demoiselle.
Join us on a walk around RSPB Ham Wall as we see how many different dragonflies and damselflies we can spot, whilst learning more about their life cycle and behaviours. This is the time when four spotted chaser's often emerge in good numbers on the reserve - see how many we can spot!
A fun event designed to arm you with knowledge of the life cycle of dragonflies and damselflies, the different species you can see at RSPB Ham Wall and the wetlands habitat they live in.
Warm clothes and sturdy walking shoes are required. The walk includes rough and uneven grass paths unsuitable for wheels. Suitable for ages 10+. Dogs are not permitted on the walk.
