Free Film Screening: Belonging: Tiger Bay Boxing Club by Florence
The COVID-19 pandemic exposed and amplified deep-rooted structural inequalities and racial disparities in British society, with significant evidence that Black, Asian, and other minority ethnic groups were disproportionately adversely impacted. Using a documentary film and photobook, this event will present some of the key findings from research that examined the intersectional impact of the pandemic and systemic racism on racially minoritized children and young people.
