Now in its 26 year, Deaf Day is a free annual one-day event to celebrate Deaf culture, welcoming visitors from all corners of the UK. It is an opportunity for Deaf and hard of hearing people to get together, socialise and celebrate Deaf provision and the Deaf community - increasing our social impact and strengthening the community. We also welcome hearing people including those who work with the Deaf community; are learning sign language; have Deaf relatives or friends; or are just interested and curious about the provision we offer.
The event reflects the rich and vibrant Deaf culture, where visitors meet old friends and make new ones, find information, and network with individuals from across the UK and Europe.
