A wonderful opportunity to hear Howard Goodall's deeply moving Eternal Light and to appreciate the depth and range of his music. Traditionally a prayer for the salvation of the departed soul, Howard’s requiem centres on those who are left behind to grieve, seeking out the healing power of music and creating a sense of solace.
Also in the programme is Howard Goodall's version of The Lord is my Shepherd - the theme from The Vicar of Dibley and music by Sanders and MacMillan.
