About this Event

FREE taster session with the Sleaford Rock Choir

If you are wanting to learn to sing you'll find a warm welcome with us in the Sleaford Rock Choir.

Your local Sleaford choir is run by Lincolnshire based musician Lulu Grainger. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members - from performing at top music and arts venues like the Royal Albert Hall and on top of the BT tower to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved charities such as Missing People, Sport Relief and local charities like Ty Hafan in South Wales. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Deborah Stevens has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events!

Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Lulu tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with her about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 20 years experience giving members of the public who are new to group singing the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir has helped me through really bad times in my life. Singing together lifts my spirits and helps me forget all my worries. I have made really good friends and it has certainly raised my confidence!! A year ago would never have attempted a solo but now enjoy the challenge. Rock Choir is really good fun and I do love singing anyway.' - Pauline (Rock Choir Member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
