Trio Paradis are delighted to have been invited to play the March concert in a series of Second Thursday evening concerts at Persephone Books.
Daughters of the Muse is a concert of music by women composers to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The concert includes rare pieces by Rosalind Ellicott, Dora Bright, Pauline Viardot, Viuva Guerreiro and Cécile Chaminade, along with Lili Boulanger Nocturne and Cortege, and music by Hildegard von Bingen. There will be biographical details and anecdotes about the composers.
Seating is very limited, so early booking is recommended. Tickets are £15.00 to include a glass of champagne and a cheese straw!
