“pOpera Zirenz In Concert” The John Lennon Song writing honorable award winners Zirenz Bex Hazard & Cat Llewelyn , bring you their reimagined arrangements of well known Opera arias, Nessun Dorma from Puccini’s Turandot, The Flower Duet from Delibes Lakme the British Airways theme, Sacred song including the Vibrant Vivaldi’s Gloria featuring the recorded voice of Welsh Opera Tenor Aled Hall, the beautiful Ave Maria and many other Classical Classics all reimagined and arranged to contemporary dance, electro pop beats and grooves performed by the itunes, Deezer & Beatport #no.1 chart topping trance DJs, Classical Crossover vocalists Zirenz.
Joining Zirenz on stage for this pOpera performance are the amazing voices of Rock Choir west Glamorgan, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire under the baton of Dan Rogers who will have everyone sing their hearts out and dancing. Then the beautiful voices of the Côr Merched Glannau’r Gwendraeth, who will be showcasing a collection of Welsh songs and choral pieces and then the exclusive CôrOMA directed by Ioan Hefin who will be performing a selection of Welsh songs and choral pieces selected from their competition repertoire. Finally our compere for the evening is the wonderfully talented Welsh born Film and Screen Actor Ioan Hefin known for his roles in Gangs of London, Apostle and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children directed by Tim Burton. So join us for an evening of Choral, Rock, Pop and pOpera music and a celebration of Voices.
This magical performance will take place in the historical grade 1 listed St Marys Church Kidwelly the largest parish church in south west Wales.
