Many will be familiar with the story of Nicholas Winton who rescued 669 children from the Nazis ia the ambitious Kindertransport, with the help of his firebrand mother (Helena Bonham Carter) and group of dedicated volunteers. The story does not end there. 50 Years later Winton (Anthony Hopkins) is still haunted by the fates of those he was not able to save. An unexpected event helps him to approach making peace with the guilt and grief of his past. 'With an all-star cast One Life is a powerful reminder of the value of individual acts in defence of human rights (ICO).
