then ‘The Really Useful Family History Show – LIVE’ being held at the Burgess Hall in St Ives, Cambridgeshire is is well worth a visit.
Saturday 20th April 2024 Between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.
Features friendly members from at least 20 Family History Societies from East Anglia and beyond will be on hand to give advice and information together with a variety of other stalls selling books, supplies and materials.
Three Well known speakers, including Nick Barratt of Who Do You Think You Are fame, will be giving talks. Nicks talk is The Future of Family History.
Ian Waller will talk about Bread Gruel and Suet Dumplings - Workhouse Life.
And Gill Blanchard presents: Tithe and Enclosure Maps and Records.
Hot and cold refreshments will be available.
Free parking and admission. Programme £1 Talks £2 per person.
