Meditations for a Happy Life
The world we live in is a reflection of our thoughts, making our minds capable of being our greatest ally or our worst adversary. Since happiness exists within our mind if we learn how to cultivate healthy states of mind we learn how to create happiness.
This course looks at how happiness is possible for everyone and explains the practices that lead to pure happiness. There is great relief in recognizing that in order to be happy we can actively train in happiness in other words we can make the choice to be happy.
The course is based on the book The New Eight Steps to Happiness by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche The methods taught in this book have inspired generations of Buddhist practitioners for almost a thousand years, and brought lasting peace, inspiration and serenity to countless people.
