Learn to Make a Summer Skirt! Saturday 6th April 10:30-2:30 £80.00
Who doesn’t love a summer skirt?
Choose to do a Pencil Skirt or an A Line Skirt!
Come join us for a workshop to learn to make a summer skirt that is perfect for all body types and wearable for any occasion!
With our expert seamstress Pat Stevens you will make a very on trend skirt that will carry you through all the seasons. Dress it up in winter with tights and boots and a jumper on a cooler evening or in the warmer months with sandals and short sleeves. This skirt is definitely a staple for any wardrobe!
In this class you will be covering:
- Patch Pockets
- Zippers
- Waist Band
- Slit (optional)
- Top Stitching
You could pre-order here your fabric or pop into the shop or you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.
Amount of fabric will vary depending on size but generally providing fabric is 150 cms wide (then 1 metre is enough for a short skirt or knee length- 25/27. More is needed obviously if fabric isn't so wide or for a longer skirt.
Light refreshments, biscuits and a warm learning environment, smiles, laughter and some serious sewing will be included.
Please send us your dress size in notes when booking.
