THE GAIA SPACE TELESCOPE by Dr Floor van Leeuwen – Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge. DrFloor van Leeuwen is manager for the photometric data processing for the Gaia satellite project at the Institute of Astronomy in Cambridge. What has this satellite revealed about our local place in the galaxy? Guests are very welcome.
