Sacconi Quartet
The Sacconi Quartet was formed in 2001 by the current players. They enjoy a busy international career, and are Quartet in Associa!ion at the Royal College of Music and Quartet in Residence in Folkestone. They have played for us on two previous occasions. After one of Mozart’s so-called “Prussian” quartets, and the last of Benjamin Britten’s numbered string quartets, written during his final illness, the concert will conclude with the last of Schumann’s string quartets, a great way to finish our 90th season.
