In this exhibition a common thread runs through each image. They all spring from intuitive painting, exploring the inner self. The shapes have no prescribed path, instead they capture a fleeting moment of reflection. I have used acrylic paint alongside pen and ink on my journey of exploration. The pen and ink pieces originate from initial pencil sketches, but undergo numerous changes adding to the complexity of the finished piece. Through this process I aim to preserve the spontaneity of each stroke, allowing for a genuine expression of self.
