Paint pouring techniques course- Bracknell
Level: Beginner
Acrylic pouring is a painting technique where acrylic paint is mixed with a pouring medium and then poured onto a surface in a variety of ways. The surface is tilted in each direction to let the paint flow and the way the colours interact is unpredictable, yet always interesting.
You will be learning how to prepare the perfect mix for all your paint pouring projects.
In this course, you will be shown 3 techniques:
Swipe
Swirl
Drag
You will be able to create your projects in the colours you like. We have a large choice of colours to choose from.
You will be making 2 canvas: 20x20cm each.
Before the end of the course, we will try to dry your work as much as possible. Your masterpieces will not be completely dry, I will be supplying you with takeaway boxes for you to be able to carry your work home.
Please make sure that your car boot is empty for you to be able to lay your work flat.
Should you wish not to take risks, you can always leave your work to dry with me and collect it at a later date.
Please make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. For practical reasons, we will be providing you with an apron, but paint can still splash your garments, please make sure that you are not wearing your best clothes!
