Tiptoe behind the scenes of one of the world’s most enduring literary horrors, Dracula with Dacre Stoker.
Dacre Stoker, international bestselling author and great grandnephew of Bram Stoker, author of Dracula, has spent the last 12 years researching his famous relative and uncovering the facts behind the myths associated with the research and writing of Dracula. Dacre shares many of his findings of his travels from Ireland to England and to the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania, while on the hunt of the fictional and real-life Dracula. Through a compelling audio-visual presentation with dramatic readings, Dacre unravels the influences, superstitions and the non-fictional events that led to the creation of this beloved supernatural novel. Hear edited and unpublished portions of the novel, learn about the recently discovered location of Castle Dracula, its significance to an ongoing unanswered question, and more.
Including these topics:
Bram Stokers notes for the writing of Dracula
Books Bram used for his research from the London Library
