Chestlion House - Open Garden for NGS
The garden surrounding the house (not open), has been planted since the new owners took on the house 10yrs ago. The garden to the rear of the house, has approx ¾ acre of mixed planting, with many blowsy roses adorning the walls and soft romantic planting in borders. There is a circular meditative garden and a round pond along with a productive kitchen, cutting garden, greenhouse and herb garden. There is a boat house and pond outside the walled area and a newly planted wildflower meadow with a fruit tree avenue and a hornbeam avenue leading to the back entrance.
