Hay Madrigals Vocal Consert and the Ystradivarius Ensemble
Conducted by Paul Sweeting, our summer concert will include beautiful music by Mozart and Vivaldi, and - for the first time since Covid - we will actually be singing some madrigals!
The Mozart is the Missa Brevis K275; the Vivaldi is the Magnificat, less well known than his Gloria, but an interesting and dramatic piece. The madrigals are by Dowland and Morley.
For the Mozart and Vivaldi, we will be joined for the first time, by the wonderful string players of the Ystradivarius Ensemble:

We're very excited to be working with them and are looking forward so much to the concert. It would be lovely to see you there.
The music will be followed by a wonderful selection of homemade cakes plus tea, coffee or wine.
